General and profile settings

Set your church's language, time zone and sign-out time, and change your own name, photo, password and appearance.

General (for the whole church)

Settings > General holds preferences that apply to everyone in your organisation:

Language and Timezone. The time zone matters: it decides when check-in opens and when scheduled messages go out.
Session Expiration: how long ChurchStack waits before signing someone out after they stop using it. Choose from 15 minutes up to 2 hours, or Never. On a shared office computer, a shorter time is safer.
Appearance: the colour treatment for the admin app (ChurchStack blue or Neutral). This is saved on your device, for you only, and does not change what your congregation sees.

Country and billing currency are set in Settings > Organisation.

Settings > Profile, also reached from your name in the header, holds your own details:

Photo: a square image about 200 x 200 pixels, JPG or PNG, up to 1 MB.
Display Name: how your name appears to your team.
Email: this cannot be changed here. Contact support if you need to update it.
Change Password: enter your current password, then the new one twice.
Appearance Mode (light or dark) and Language, which override the church’s default for you only.

Select Save Changes when you are done.
