Notifications and your account

Notifications

Tap the bell on the home screen to see your notifications: new announcements, events and rotas.

To choose what you are notified about, open your profile and tap Notifications:

1. Turn on Push notifications for this device.
2. Choose what you want: Announcements, Events, Serving (when you are on a rota) and Group chat. Replies from your church to something you sent always come through.

If notifications are blocked, turn them back on in your phone’s settings for the ChurchStack app.

Your profile

Tap your picture on the home screen to open your Profile. It shows your name, your church and campus, and your details: email, phone and birthday. If any are wrong, tap Ask for a change. See Contact your church.

Preferences lets you choose the app’s appearance: System (match your phone), Light or Dark.

Tap Sign out to sign out of this device.

Delete your account

1. In your profile, under Account, tap Delete account.
2. Read what happens, type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

You are signed out and cannot sign in again. Your photo, phone number, birthday, address and other personal details are removed.

Your church keeps your name and email address, and your giving and attendance records, because churches must keep giving records for several years by law.

If you change your mind, ask your church to restore your access.
